Though I am not a plein air artist, I am a painter who appreciates the beauty of paintings that is done that way. I lived with a plein air artist in France, for some years, and, in my more contemporary style, gave it a try. It wasn't for me.

Your paintings are wonderful. How lucky you were to work with Ken McPherson. I've been told that he is the baedecker of plein air painting.
